Food - We understand gastronomy as a tool that can be used to share interests. We are nonconformists by nature. We work and seek answers to questions: these issues are the mainstays we hold on to in order to move forward. Years ago, we started thinking about the established values and we realized that we felt ill at ease with them because they do not guarantee a better dining experience. What determines whether something is good? Are we less well-mannered if we serve a man first? Where do we draw the line to distinguish between an appetizer and a dish of vegetables? ART LODGE


“Art-lodge: the avant-garde alp in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Nockberge region, the art-lodge is situated in Verditz on a 16,000 square metre plot of land with fruit trees and pastures. Located at an altitude of 1,058m and only 2 hours from the Adriatic Sea. The art-lodge has made her home in the old “Rohrerhof”, a former farm with history dating back over 300 years. The farm buildings have been extended continuously. The most recent activities were to renovate and modernise the main building, and to convert the old barn into a comfortable and cosy boutique-hotel. In the sunny courtyard is a new bio-pool, surrounded by a decked viewing area and a small spa house in the old carpenter’s shed. The art-lodge is a very unusual boutique hotel and utterly unique. Tutte uve che entrano nel disciplinare per la produzione del FARO DOC. Il microclima è davvero unico , in quanto in meno di 5 Km l'altitudine passa da 0 a 450 mt s.l.m. proprio questo clima e la rigida selezione delle uve permettono di ottenere meno di 1 Kg di uva per pianta .La pigiatura soffice, le fermentazioni a temperature controllate, la maturazione in barriques e il successivo affinamento in locali climatizzati rendono possibile la creazione di questo vino di antica tradizione .”

Il Leit Motiv è "riscoprire e riportare alla luce i sapori perduti della tradizione e rinnovarli", deturnarli in un contesto moderno e innovativo, ma rispettoso della storia dell'uomo nel suo territorio. Grande protagonista della nostra cucina è l’ingrediente genuino e naturale, è la cura che mettiamo nella selezione delle materie prime, l’esaltazione della loro essenza pura all’interno di una sinfonia di sapori e profumi che non si annullano ma si esaltano e si valorizzano a vicenda. In My Eyes - The Intimate Autobiography of Steve Whyte


“Breaking the cycle of struggle; Steve Whyte was born in London, England 1986 in an area best known for gun crime, drugs and at risk youth. At the age of six Steve was introduced to the sport basketball which was the foundation of his discipline throughout his teen years, until undergoing surgery in his knee which prevented him from playing at the level which he desired. The heartbreaking end of one career wasn't enough to stop Steve from aiming high. It wasn't long after this disaster when teachers in school wrote him off predicting that he would never be successful. Steve needed no additional motivation to bring his dream into reality and began writing encouraging material throughout his pain with hope to help someone else get through theirs.In pursuit of excellence Steve transformed his life in 5 years and now teaches others how to do the same.  Steve has a giving heart and has established a Charity, Better-Days Project Ltd. The project provides charitable outreach, products and various programs dedicated to empowering people to be at their best.
