ART LODGE

“Art-lodge: the avant-garde alp in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Nockberge region, the art-lodge is situated in Verditz on a 16,000 square metre plot of land with fruit trees and pastures. Located at an altitude of 1,058m and only 2 hours from the Adriatic Sea. The art-lodge has made her home in the old “Rohrerhof”, a former farm with history dating back over 300 years. The farm buildings have been extended continuously. The most recent activities were to renovate and modernise the main building, and to convert the old barn into a comfortable and cosy boutique-hotel. In the sunny courtyard is a new bio-pool, surrounded by a decked viewing area and a small spa house in the old carpenter’s shed. The art-lodge is a very unusual boutique hotel and utterly unique. We look forward to a nice spring and summer time with lots of sun and a handful artists with new artpieces, an exhibition and some outside projects!”
