GALLERY - After twenty years of experience as an art and antiques shop, in
spring 2009 La Bottega
welcomed its new art gallery.
The gallery
is found in the ground floor of a historical building amongst the Castillian
walls of the town of Castelina
in Chianti. La Bottega
art-gallery offers a wide collection of paintings and sculptures, both
contemporary and of the end of 1800's- beginning 1900's. More than 70 different
artists with not less than 600 art pieces on catalogue, can be found here in
exposition and on sale.
La Bottega is unique in its role as
art-gallery, as it works exclusively in representation of Tuscan Contemporary
Artists.
THE ARTISTS
- The art-gallery offers its exposition spaces to both renown and emerging
artists that represent the artistic identity of different areas in Tuscany. Its distinctive
characteristic lies in Landscape art. Because of its location in the heart of
Chianti area, la Bottega
can be considered as an important platform for its artists which gain
international exposure, exposition experience together with a variety of other
styles and techniques. Each artist offers works with a unique style, technique
and choice of materials, of different dimentions and prices.
THE
COSTUMERS - La Bottega
art-gallery counts more than 1.000 costumers worldwide in over 40 different
countries. Amongst the USA
only, counting costumers in each one of the 50 states, more than 1.500 art
pieces have been shipped. Each costumer is taken care of personally , from the
choice of the art piece to its delivery, by the owners of la Bottega: Mario and Claire
Cappelletti. In over 20 years of business they have created many collaborations
and friendships with people from all over the world.
THE OWNERS
- Mario Cappelletti is a native of Castellina in Chianti, and his wife Claire,
originally from Chicago,
has been living in Chianti for more than 30 years. With their family in 1989
they created La Bottega
and up to today have been nurturing its development with great passion.”
